Electric Operations Department OverviewThe men and women of Electric Operations ensure the delivery of clean, safe, reliable and affordable energy to nearly 16 million people in Northern and Central California.
Electric Operations is responsible for every aspect of PG&E's electric distribution and transmission operations, including planning, engineering, maintenance and construction, asset management, business planning, restoration and emergency response.
Within Electric Operations, the Major Projects and Programs (MPP) organization is responsible for the end-to-end project management, design, estimating and construction of all distribution and transmission projects.
These projects and programs include Vegetation Management, State Infrastructure, Pole Replacement, Rule 20, Capacity/Reliability Planning, Storage, WRO, and Mobile Home.
MPP is also responsible for overseeing two major programs in our wildfire risk mitigations plans, the system hardening of distribution line miles and the system inspection of all distribution assets.
MPP strives to deliver certainty in work execution by performing work safely, effectively and efficiently.
Position SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for product ownership of Estimating/ Reporting database and its development, its integration with various internal databases such as SAP, GIS ED WebViewer, etc.
The Product Owner will be a key member of the Innovative Design Solutions team and will be involved in the development and enhancement of tools and applications.
You will provide a clear vision of the product that will be built and ensure its integration with the company's enterprise systems, SAP, ESRI ArcGIS, Palantir.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter who works well with all levels of the organization, is an effective communicator who can translate technical information into business terms for stakeholders; has a keen process understanding; works well with ambiguity; has high energy and is adept at overcoming resistance to change.
This position offers a flexible work location within the PG&E service territory.
ResponsibilitiesActs as primary liaison between various departments and stakeholders, under the assigned group of applications Develops and maintains estimating and reporting database solutions for a variety of systems and platforms.
Develops implementation plans and leads team to introduce new technology.
Develops and tracks metrics for business performance reporting.
Facilitates insights on reporting deliverables.
Compiles and analyzes data related to current and in development reporting deliverables.
Applies broad expertise and advanced knowledge to wide-ranging issues.
May act as a team lead and provide direction to less experienced employees.
Performs business process improvement activities in support of the business.
Activities may include developing, managing, or coordinating metrics and reporting processes, change management, communication, and training.
QualificationsMinimum:
High School or GED-General Educational Development-GED Diploma Job-related experience, 5 years Proficient in Python, PostgreSQLDesired:
Knowledge of UI and UX with insight into the latest technology in mobile applicationsFamiliarity with push notifications, APIs and cloud messaging.
Extensive experience with iOS Frameworks such as Core Data and Core Animation.
Knowledge of iOS back-end services.
Strong verbal and written communicationCreative problem-solving skills to develop solutions.
Working experience with Salesforce, ArcGIS or ESRI productsWorking experience in an Agile environmentProduct Owner, Scrum Master, or other Agile certificationsInfluence skills to effectively gain buy in from leaders inside and outside of the department.
Adaptable to changing business conditions and ambiguity.
Experience with technology deployments.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
