Wildfire Risk Position SummaryThe Business Process Analyst will work within the Vegetation Management Technology Team to align cross-functional groups on project priorities, project requirements and expected outcomes to deliver meaningful technologies to the Vegetation Management (VM) Department.
The incumbent will function as a liaison to the IT department from the VM department, representing end users and business process owners in business system requirements, implementation of new tools, ongoing support, and enhancements.
The incumbent will define user system requirements, provides user support, coordinate user acceptance testing of new tools and gathers users' feedback.
The incumbent performs feasibility analysis, develops project scope, provides project management structure, and provides recommendations on alternative solutions, project strategy and deliverable prioritization.
The successful candidate will develop a working knowledge of current business processes and practices in order to recommend improvements to current processes, practices and procedures, and help to deliver new technologies to the Vegetation Management department.
Location is flexible in the PG&E service area.
Travel will be up to 20%.

Responsibilities:
Applies advanced knowledge to wide-ranging process issues affecting the business.
Develops innovative process solutions to address complex business issues.
Presents findings and proposed recommendations to leaders.
Manage cross-functional project teams and cross-functional initiatives.
Understand the current and future business environment of the organization and effectively anticipate, identify, and meet the business needs.
Attend field meetings and trainings as required to advance knowledge of current business process and/or technologies utilized to further VM Technology related projects and initiatives.
Helps to develop/deliver end-to-end process training materials to better support business needs.
May provide direction and coaching to other VM Technology resources.
Performs root cause analysis on highly complex processes that have cross functional impact.
Works with and leverages relationships with Directors and Managers across process functions / PG&E.
Actively contribute to teams that define, review and approve requirements for the business needs solution.
Analyze end-to-end, moderate to high complexity business processes in one or more business functional areas.
Anticipate concerns and questions and provide timely and professional communications.
Develop business cases in support of strategy or change initiatives.
Handle moderate to complex user issues that arise with supported systems and tools.
Address most calls independently; escalate the more complex problems to senior peers.
Identify, propose and influence solutions to moderate-to-complex business problems.
May write manuals, Requests for Change, procedures.
Participate in UATs and perform quality reviews of test results.
Provide consulting in business and user needs.
Participate in project estimates.
Qualification:
Minimum:
Bachelor's Degree in business administration or job-related discipline or equivalent experienceJob-related experience, 6 years Desired:
Experience in business analysis, 7 yearsExperience leading cross-functional teamsExperience in delivering business solutions for continuous improvementBusiness operations related experienceOperational change management experienceExperience developing process diagrams, flow charts, or swim lane chartsLSS-Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certificationPMP Certification.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
